We are creative designers with regional, national and international experience.  Our portfolio covers medical, government, retail, publishing, tourism and

education.  We listen and work with you to create solutions that you own

from the outset ensuring that you understand every step from strategic

recommendations to implementation.

 

Ultimately, design has to work for you, it shouldn’t be something that just looks nice. It has to perform and deliver on your investment. Visual communication is essential for your business, enabling you to stand out from everyday visual clutter.

 

To get things off the ground, we analyse what you have and what you are doing.

We recommend an intelligent way forward by getting under the skin of your company,

customers and consumers, and understanding what they do and how they think.

We then make all of this visible by creating design solutions that work in both print

and digital media. We work in naming, visual identity, verbal identity, brand rollout

and marketing communication.

 

 

Why symonjames?

 

Plenty of people ask me why did I choose symonjames. Well, to cut a long story short...symonjames is headed and owned by Symon Sweet, however, quite often I receive bits and bobs through the post addressed as Symon Swede, or Symon Sweat...not very pleasant really, so I decided the company name would be my first name 'Symon' and my middle name 'James', so symonjames it was. Not complex, not confusing.

 

We get you to look at things differently

Part of what makes us really tick is the feeling we get when we see people get what we are talking about. We aren’t Paul Daniels or Paul McKenna, we just tell how it is. We then work together, with you and your team, to get the right solution. But you need to come to us with an open mind. A mindset that really wants to do things a little out of the ordinary. It’s great fun, a lot of fun and you’ll wish you did it years ago.

 

 

How do we come up with fresh ideas?

How nice it is at the weekend, when you can have a coffee at a outdoor café, take a trip on a boat, sit on a tor on Dartmoor, stroll along a beach and take in the sea air. Well, believe it or not you can do that sort of thing during the week as well. There’s nothing like blowing away the cobwebs. You feel better, you feel inspired, you feel great. That’s how business should be done. They’ve been doing in other parts of the world for years.
